Ideally, business headshots should be updated once a year to maintain an accurate representation of yourself or the employees. In addition, most businesses choose to have uniform headshots for website purposes. This can be difficult to maintain as new staff members are hired throughout the course of business. This is where developing a relationship with a local photographer can pay dividends as you can call on me to update or add to your company’s headshots at any point during the year. When you choose to work with me for your professional headshots, you have chosen to work with options. For the utmost in control of what the images will look like, I have a full studio located in Purlear, NC (minutes from Wilkesboro and US 421), where we can create your headshot. If you are looking for a branding headshot to show a bit more about you and what you do, I can work on location to capture whatever setting fits you best. For companies, I offer location sessions as well, where I come to your business for a minimal intrusion on the business day for your staff. Whether we are talking a single photo, or an entire staff’s worth of headshots, I would be happy to discuss your needs and exceed your expectations.
Since a headshot is pretty straightforward, I have worked out a pricing strategy that will work in most situations. There will be a session fee charged for each time I am setting up at a location. As long as we are not moving to different locations, this will only be a one-time charge for individuals or companies. In the digital age, the headshots are usually delivered as digital files which will then be utilized online or for business cards. These digital files will be accompanied by a simple license which will allow you to use and print the image as specified in our agreement. Those licensing fees are tiered for easy calculations and are independent of changes in total number if adjustments need to be made during the session. You will see the breakdown below, but the first five licenses, or images are one price with the sixth license starting a slightly lower price and the eleventh starting an even lower price which will remain fixed for any additional licenses. If the job calls for several subsequent days to get all employees photographed, I will count it all as one session for the purposes of counting licenses.
Basic pricing structure for professional headshots:
- Session Fee, charged once per location: $150.00
- License for first five (5) headshots $150.00 each
- License for six (6) through ten (10) $125.00 each
- License for any additional after ten (10) $100.00 each

Location shoots available: I am conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, but willing to travel within reason to meet your needs.
