Print Selections

Welcome to the Gallery Store.  If you are wanting to purchase a print of my work, you are in the right place.  You won’t find buttons like “add to cart” here though.  I’ve found that over the years there are just too many variables when it comes to purchasing art to limit choices based on what I think might work for most.  Instead, I’ve decided to make this a very personal experience and have opened myself up to help you with your choices.  Unlike many photographers who limit choices for convenience, I’ve opted to provide my work for many different environments and spaces.  You can choose relatively small prints and can go as large as you would like.  I’ll also print on different media to suit your decor.

There really is no better way of enjoying a fine art photograph than in print.  This is really the only way that you can be assured that you are seeing what the artist intended for you to see.  There are differences in monitors and device screens that will change the brightness, colors, and contrast when you are looking at a photo online.  I work in a completely color calibrated environment so that the photo is true to my vision from concept to print.  I have reduced the variables down to known quantities so I can achieve this final output.  I am unable to control how things look on other monitors or devices.  This just means that if you love a photo of mine based on your monitor, it will only get better in print.

Standard Media and Sizes

The following media and sizes are based on the papers that I keep in stock and are rough sizes for the prints.  Depending on the aspect ratio of the photograph, the longest side will be sized to fit within the media while the shorter size will fall where it will in order to keep the crop and aspect ratio intact.  If you would like exact dimensions within the print space, I can furnish that information to you for framing needs.  Speaking of framing, these prints will need to be framed in order to be hung, so that cost will need to be factored into your choices.  Due to shipping concerns, I do not offer framing for my prints.  The turnaround time for these prints is routinely less than two days before they are ready for shipping.  The prices shown include shipping within the United States.

Luster Paper:  This is a semi-gloss photo paper with deep and rich tones.  This paper is perfect for general use and will work for both color and black and white prints.

  • 8.5×11″ — $35.00
  • 11×17″ — $70.00
  • 13×19″ — $110.00

Metallic Paper:  This is a high gloss paper with a pearlescent coating to it which will give the image a 3D feel.  It is more suitable for subjects that are highly reflective such as water or chrome.  It is also good for high contrast black and white use.  If you have questions about your print on this specialty paper, please feel free to contact me.

  • 13×19″ — $125.00

Baryta Rag:  This is a fine art paper with a semi-gloss sheen to it.  This is the industry standard media for use in galleries and other fine art uses.  This archival paper is perfect for both color and black and white uses.  This is my personal favorite option within the standard size prints.

  • 13×19″ — $145.00

Custom, Special-Order Media and Sizes

When it comes to art prints, I have always preferred larger prints.  There is just something majestic about seeing a print appearing larger than life on a wall.  Of course, if you are going to go that big, you want the whole presentation to fit the part.  That is where the special-order prints come in.  You can choose fine art papers of course, but you can also choose to go with metal prints or canvas prints to suit your own tastes and decor.  These will be custom sized based on your needs, though the original aspect ratio will remain intact to maintain the composition.

Fine Art Rag:  When selecting this option, I will print on a high quality, archival, satin rag paper that is suitable for gallery showings.  This option will need to be framed for display and exact dimensions will be determined prior to ordering.  Because of all of the different variables, the easiest way to price this option will be by the square inch.

  • Priced at $0.75 per square inch
  • Usually ready to ship within 10 business days.

Stretched Canvas:  When selecting this option, prints will be done on canvas which is pre-stretched on a wooden frame.  The finish will be done in a satin finish for rich colors and a wide variety of viewing angles.  There will be hangers on the back of the print allowing this option to be ready to hang.  There are a few different options that can be added to the canvas print if you would like a decorative frame mounted around it.

  • Prices start at $1.15 per square inch with options extra
  • Usually ready to ship within 14 business days.

Metal Prints:  This is a different option than the metallic paper as this is a print done on aluminum for that modern presentation.  The print is mounted to a hanging surface that makes the print appear as if floating from the wall.  The corners will be rounded ever so slightly for a cleaner appearance.  The print will be in satin finish for glare free viewing and deep, rich colors.  This is a great choice for the modern decor, or when fine detail in the print is desired.  There is no texture on these prints so that every grain of detail in the photo can be seen.  The metal prints are ready to hang when they arrive, and you can option in different frames if you choose to do that.

  • Prices start at $1.25 per square inch with options extra
  • Usually ready to ship within 14 business days.

How to Order?

I’m glad you asked.  Like I said, there are no “add to cart” buttons here and I think that you can see why.  All of my photos are available as prints, so to get started, all you need to do is choose the print title or titles that you are interested in.  With those titles, you can call or text me at 336-681-0220 or email me at [email protected].  From there, if you know the size that you are wanting, we will just need to discuss the media.  If you are unsure of the size that you need, I’m happy to discuss what will work best in the space that you are wanting to hang the print.  In fact, I’m happy to discuss any questions that you might have before purchasing your piece of artwork.  Once, we have everything decided and you are happy with your selection, I will request payment and will work on getting your custom print completed and shipped to you.  It is as simple as that.
