Once upon a time, my kit was pretty simple. You can see what I carry out in the field for my landscape and decay work by visiting my other gear page. I had the whole kit worked out just how I wanted it for pretty much any eventuality. Since starting my people photography side of things, I’ve had to alter the kit in ever increasing ways. After about a year of growing, I have developed two complete camera kits that I am working with which specialize in what I’m doing with them. The collection of items on this page is what I use specifically for portrait and people work. Just like my other kit, this one is purpose driven and what I use is selected after careful consideration for what would be needed.
I am able to work with natural light, both indoors and outdoors, as well as having a full 900sqft studio with multiple light setups. This allows me complete control over the light that is used in my photographs. Some of the studio equipment is portable for location shoots that require extra lighting, or the modification of existing lighting.
